While I think the book is very well written, gorgeous, an entertaining and engaging story, and I love this author's work . So sorry this edition is out of print. How do they work together?In all fairness, my rating is based on how the book met my needs as a non-professional programmer with limited experience in writing code. This book is and was intended for use by linguists, educators, and others such as anthropologists who were in the 1970's and the 1980's beginning to realize that ASL was not a manual gesture system mimicing English, but rather a language in its own right.
