It's a fascinating read, a fascinating true story!. Alas, that was not to be.While the information it contains was as fascinating as I had hoped and expected, the book could have benefited from more skillful editing. It also told me Ginger could prove useful if I took it regularly. I really needed a book, that was not just fluff, to make herbal remedies with little chance of side effects. It's foolish to use plant extracts gathered from plants sprayed with toxins and it's stupid to help exterminate a valuable plant.Brinker has two undergraduate degrees in biology from "ordinary" schools (including the University of Kansas where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa), and he is a graduate of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland Oregon. There's so much information and guidance.. The instructions are good. I applaud the tremendous work that went into weaving together the complex story of the Burguieres family, and look forward to Donna Onebane's next work.. It is inspiring, and practical, and it is easy to see why it has inspired so many other practitioners and authors.This work is probably not necessary unless you are interested in the history of the concept though.
