An excellent book about some very unique furniture.The Dunlap family of cabinetmakers definitely produced some of the finest and most interesting 18th and early 19th century furniture.This book has a great history of the Dunlap family covering the different towns they lived in, their apprentices, and other general history information.Donald Dunlap (yes, he is a descendent) builds some incredible pieces of Dunlap family furniture. I suggest in revision the story not jump between the girls by chapter, but alternate point of view during the chapter. . I was attracted to the cover because it shows one of my favorite plants, the pink Echinacea Purpurea. A child who was passed around by her family (including the women) and all there friends and neighbors. I know from experience.
