Another great addition to an already great collection of books that I have. I read this book around a year ago and loved it. Roland Barthes' work from 1968 onwards provides for this, and for the essential element of pleasure which for Sullivan is an inalienable part of bodily-being-in-the-world, subjectivity. I never knew what a blessed childhood I had until then.. The stories are not too long and not too short. Likewise as I later worked with the officers injured in the shoot-out they never discussed their injuries and experiences, so I was anxious to finally read Captain Walt's account. The situations are diverse-and yes, there are some of men coming to homes to work but never without a twist-and each offers up a different viewing of sex and the various couplings, in many cases of unlikely partners.
