I was especially surprised at the condition as this book's pages are perforated by design and I haven't seen any damage yet. My kids love cats and I purchased this book for one child who needs some work on pronunciation and elocution, and this child has enjoyed reading these verses aloud while working on those skills. Perhaps it was because so many shared the same experience there was no need to talk about it certainly it was not the kind of story you bragged about. The majority of these short stories don't lose sight of the goal here but do so in an intelligent way.. As I was assigned to Central Patrol and worked the Hall & Thomas area often, had I not been in Vietnam I would likely have been there like several of the men behind the retaining wall, one of which was my partner when I returned to DPD in November 1970. Though he was there and participating this is not a story Eddie tells about himself and his bravery and daring-do. The plans are above average to vey good.
