I don't really count anything paved as a hike, honestly, but that that said, they are good ideas for outings.Cons/Wishes for change:Directions - they are sparse sometimes, and a few times just plain wrong. While often correct, I've learned to bring along another map. The hardest part is deciding which of the 6 featured cities I want to have our first adventure in!One note about the book: a few of the cities have notes like "this area is not for low-level players!" Since I'm just starting a campaign myself, this advice is a tiny bit discouraging. Wonderful book for children (and adults) about Hanukkah.
