This was a little disappointing: Based on the title, I expected to see discussions of all the hardware, software, development processes and additional technologies involved in modernizing systems.Overall, however, I learned a lot from the book, and it confirmed many of my beliefs about the importance of modernizing legacy systems and the best approaches to use. It's good enough that I read it one or two stories at a time and found that was sufficiently arousing that it was best to quite while I was a head.. there have been only a little written on this subject. A mysterious voice whispers to Max, telling him about the secret life of Rosa the ponderosa. But what is even scarier is the possibility for engineered viruses that could burn through a fresh round of vaccinations and that would be almost impossible to counter.As compelling as the subject matter is, and as breathless as Preston's writing is, it bears mentioning that he does an excellent job of staying above the scientific debate. This worked for me, but if you are of the "hate pain and need an epidural!" variety, you are probably not the target audience.. The material is well laid out and easy to readcolor wiring diagrams are extremely accurate and helofulwell worth the $$$..
